About Scott Wichmann

 

Scott Wichmann is an award-winning stage, film, and television actor primarily based in Virginia, known for his work onstage in the Mid-Atlantic Region for over twenty-five years. He is also a writer, director, and an accomplished cabaret performer known professionally as Mister Showtime.

 

Acting and Performance Career

 

Wichmann is a versatile performer, described as a "throwback musical comedian with a flair for physical comedy." He has been a familiar face on the Richmond stage and screen, appearing in productions at every major venue in the city. Notable Stage Roles in Virginia include: Frank Sinatra in the world premiere musical revue Ella and Her Fella, Frank; John Adams in the musical 1776 (which he was also featured as in the FOX News series Legends and Lies: The Patriots). Roles in productions such as The Producers, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Say Goodnight Gracie, and the one-man show Fully Committed. Film and TV Credits include the Steven Spielberg-directed film Lincoln, the television series Turn: Washington's Spies, The Good Lord Bird and Legends and Lies: The Patriots, as well as the films Loving, Lake Effects, and Shooting the Prodigal.

Military and Other Roles

 

In addition to his career in the arts, Wichmann is a proud chief petty officer in the United States Navy Reserve. His military service has included deployments to Afghanistan, Africa, Italy, and Germany. 

Wichmann has also served as an adjunct professor at the VCU School of Business, teaching a course on making business presentations, and has also served as Actor-in-Residence at the University of Richmond. He is also a director and the author of several educational plays for Theatre IV America through Virginia Repertory Theatre.

​Ryan Corbitt is a Richmond, Virginia-based musician, entrepreneur, and musical director with a background in music education and production. He and has notable professional experience across several facets of the music industry. Ryan is the owner of the Westwood Music Club, a modern family music school.

Westwood Music Club

 

Westwood Music Club in Richmond, VA, is a business focused on providing music lessons. The business began in 2012 as "Grove Avenue Piano," a program Corbitt started at Tabernacle Baptist Church where he is still the pianist on staff, utilizing the unused space and pianos to offer lessons.  In 2017, he took the opportunity to operate a larger lesson program that was closing nearby, expanding his operations under the Grove Avenue Piano name. Now incorporating other instruments, in operates as Westwood Music Club a modern family music school, serving all ages and levels.

Theater and Television Credits 

 

Corbitt has credits as a Pit Musician and Musical Director for many theatrical performances in Central Virginia at Virginia Repertory Theatre, Firehouse Theatre, Cadence Theatre and more. ​ Ryan also has extensive experiences a media composer, having created music library and custom tracks for commercials and programs.
